An estimated 1.9 million (approximately 2%) of American children have lost one or both parents to illness or accident. At least 85% of these children will suffer long-standing symptoms from this emotional trauma. The Greatest Sacrifices seeks to aid and support these children with the following programs:

Bereavement Counseling and Support
The Greatest Sacrifice will assist obtaining bereavement counseling for children who have lost a parent including group and individual therapy,and bereavement camps. Please contact TGS if you are in need of services or if you know of a child who would benefit from our services.

Scholarships
TGS offers scholarship funds to children and young adults who, because of a loss of a parent due to illness or accident, are unable to afford to continue their education. Scholarship funds will be made available to accepted applicants to support pre-school, secondary school and college tuition expenses.
